What is Where2Laugh?
Where2Laugh is a free app that lists every live comedy room in Canada in one feed — stand-up, open mics, improv, sketch and roast battles. You browse what's on tonight in your city, then go straight to the door.
Is it free?
Yes. Free for audiences to browse and free for hosts to list. There are no booking fees, because we never handle the transaction — you pay the room at the door, however that host already takes entry.
Which Canadian cities is it in?
Where2Laugh covers Canada coast to coast from day one, including Toronto, Montréal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Québec City, Halifax and beyond. Any host anywhere in Canada can list a room.
Do you sell tickets?
No. Where2Laugh is a discovery app, not a ticketing platform. Each listing shows how that room takes entry — free, pay-what-you-can, cash at the door, or the host's own link — and hands you straight to them.
How do I find comedy shows tonight near me?
Open Where2Laugh and the feed shows every comedy show running tonight in your city, ordered by what starts next. Filter by style, price and night — including unticketed and last-minute rooms.
How do I find open mics?
Filter the feed by Open Mic and you get every open mic in your city, including recurring weekly rooms. They're usually free or pay-what-you-can, and they rarely appear on ticketing sites — which is exactly why we list them.

Can I list my comedy show for free?
Yes. Listing is free for hosts, producers, venues and open mic runners anywhere in Canada. Publish in about two minutes; recurring nights repeat automatically each week.
How is this different from Instagram or Eventbrite?
Instagram only shows rooms you already follow, and ticketing sites only show shows that sell tickets through them. Where2Laugh lists every comedy room in one place — free, unticketed and open mic nights included — sorted by what's on tonight.
When does the app launch?
The app is in final testing and launches Canada-wide. Join the waitlist for early access before the public launch — we'll email you the moment it opens in your city.
Is it available in French?
Yes. Where2Laugh is bilingual, in English and Canadian French. Montréal and Québec City rooms can be listed and browsed in French.
Is it on iPhone and Android?
Where2Laugh is coming to both iOS and Android at launch. Join the waitlist and we'll send the download link for your device on launch day.
How do you verify a room is real?
Every listing requires a working way to reach the host — phone, email or messaging link — and a listing with no reachable contact can't stay published. Attendees can flag a listing that's wrong or gone.
